‘Trouble With Robots’ Evolves: a New Model

First of all, we can’t begin this blogpost without wishing you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR! Remember, even if your 2015 was excellent or just MEH, gather all the lessons, successes and failures, and  leave them to guide you in your way. Nothing is useless, every step you made is worth consider. We have 12 months in front of us to create a brilliant 2016.
We at Art Castle are also making a renovation. After a year trying a free model in Trouble With Robots, with two paid IAPs, we have decided to make some changes. Starting on January 08, you can download our game the following ways:
- iTunes: $0.99 USD to download, with all three chapters unlocked
- Google Play: 1st chapter free to download, bundle with chapters 2&3 $0.99 USD
These slight differences are due to the requirements of each store. There are several things that have led us to this decision: the most important one is that people don’t seem quite comfortable with our model so far, and making our community and potential players happy is our main goal. We decided to test and explore new paths, hoping that these changes will help us to grow the number of players and enthusiasts of Trouble With Robots.
In order to do this, we would like to count on you, of course. If you know anyone who may feel charmed by our tale of peasants vs robots, sci-fi lovers, card games and strategy maniacs… or just want to support the effort of a brave indie game trying to make its own way, please spread the word and share the news. We truly believe that Trouble With Robots is one of a kind, and there still are a lot of people out there who will agree with us!
